At least one licensed nurse is on-site or on-call 24 hours per day. Our nursing office staff are present to oversee the daily delivery of care to the residents and to be a resource to the caregivers. The licensed nurses provide staff supervision and instruction, maintain staff work schedules, schedule and coordinate resident medical needs, promote resident wellness and maintain effective communication between families, residents, and physicians.

Mrs. Bush’s coordinates a full range of medical services with outside medical providers and home health agencies, including wound care, catheter care, lab/phlebotomy services, diagnostic studies and on-site hearing aid services, ensuring comprehensive and convenient healthcare for our residents. Presently, on-site physician service includes primary medical care, nephrology specialist, podiatry, dentistry, optometry and virtual geriatric psychiatric visits.

We provide a dedicated, experienced staff to provide 24-hour oversight and hands on assistance to our residents with activities of daily living. We offer medication management, mobility assistance, daily hygiene and dressing, incontinence management, showering assistance, hair and nail care and weekly blood pressure and weight monitoring along with many other services! Our caregivers are trained to perform the duties required for their jobs. All training is conducted on-site including medication training, diabetes education, CPR and First Aid certification.

We offer breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snacks in an elegant dining area.  Food is an important part of every day and we take great pride in developing a menu that offers variety and delicious home-cooked meals and desserts.

Our housekeeping and maintenance departments are focused on both routine and deep cleaning needs as well as daily issues such as accidental spills, elimination of odors, and working to keep our home feeling "just like home". Our talented housekeepers wave their magic wands and tastefully decorate for each season and holiday. We provide on-site laundering of all personal clothing items and this is included in the monthly rent. All personal clothing items are individually labeled with the resident’s full name to avoid lost items. We also include weekly bedroom and bathroom linen service.

Another key ingredient to the success of our home is being able to offer Occupational Therapy, Speech Therapy, and Physical Therapy.  Our facility proudly works with H2Health to ensure effective and professional services are provided.

Our salons are staffed by certified hair stylists that offer an array of services at reasonable fees. Cuts, colors, perms and wash & sets are all popular options that are available.

We understand that maintaining appointments with outside medical services is important but often times difficult. At Mrs. Bush’s we offer scheduled transportation with

our minivan that is equipped with an electric seat lift for ease of transferring in and out of the vehicle. Our trusted driver not only transports residents to and from the destination but is trained as a caregiver and has all of the skills necessary to assist residents with personal needs during the course of an outing including mobility needs, hygiene, toileting/incontinence care and CPR/First Aid certification.
