Book Donation to Elementary School
The residents of Mrs. Bush's donated their first book to Pleasant Valley Elementary School. The book titled "Miss. Rumphius" is about a young girl who dreams of living her adult life on the coast, but her grandfather tells her that in order to have her dream come true she must make the world beautiful. Our hope is that the students we visit can make the world a beautiful place too. The residents enjoy spending their time at the school and there is a beautiful bond between the two generations.
